2. How We Use Your Data

• Core Vedic Calculations: Calculate accurate Muhurtas, Tithis, and Panchang timings for your location
• Spiritual & Gamified Experiences: Track your Dharmic Quest progress, leaderboards, and daily streaks
• App Personalization & Account Syncing: Preserve your preferences across sessions and merge guest progress when you sign in
• App Improvement & Security: Analyze app performance, prevent abuse, and optimize our services
• Advertising: Display sponsored cards via Google AdMob. We do not use your personal data to request personalized ads

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

We work with the following service providers. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and we share only the minimum data necessary for their functioning:

• Google Firebase — authentication, analytics, and crash reporting
• Google Analytics — pageviews, module engagement metrics, and geographic usage statistics
• Google AdMob — sponsored content delivery and measurement. AdMob's data collection and use is governed by Google's advertising policies
• Google Fonts — typography delivery

We may also disclose information if required by law, regulation, or governmental request, or to protect the rights and safety of Sanatan Feed and its users. In the event of a merger or acquisition, user data may be transferred subject to the same protections described in this policy.

We do not currently share personally identifiable data with advertisers or data brokers beyond the service providers listed above. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify users.

4. Data Storage & Security

• Local Preferences: Basic settings are stored on your device
• Cloud Infrastructure: Account data, game progress, and consent records are hosted on secure cloud servers
• Encryption: Data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using standard HTTPS/TLS protocols

5. Location Data

Sanatan Feed uses location data solely for astronomical Panchang calculations. You may manually select your city without granting GPS access, and you can update or clear your saved location at any time in app settings. We do not retain location history beyond your current saved setting.

6. Your Rights & Data Controls

You may have rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) or applicable laws in your jurisdiction. These include the right to:

• Access & Review: View your local settings and practice progress within the app
• Correct: Update your birth profile or account details at any time via app settings
• Clear Local Data: Clear your device storage or app cache to reset local preferences
• Request Deletion: Contact us to request removal of your account, game data, or practice logs from our servers. Deletion requests can be submitted at any time via our account deletion page
• Lodge a Grievance: Contact our Grievance Officer (Section 8) or a relevant data protection authority

7. Children's Privacy

Sanatan Feed is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law, whichever is higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us for deletion.

8. Changes & Contact

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Material changes will be flagged via an in-app notice. Your continued use of the application after such changes indicates your acceptance of the updated terms.
